Scary Stuff

Yesterday, Sugarland's stage completely collapsed at the Indiana State fair! If they had been on stage the whole band would have died. The footage on youtube is scary. The whole stage just falls and everyone starts screaming and running.... I guess four people died and some were injured. You never know when your last day is going to be. Make them all count.

Jennifer Nettles, the lead singer in the band Sugarland. She rocks. She has so much energy, a huge vocal range, and can hold one note for forever. AWESOME. :)

Music

Music is an interesting thing.
It is the most obvious metaphor to show how hard work and practice pay off, through singing, dancing, or playing an instrument. I play the piano, and I am a level 5, so I'm pretty good. Somedays though it is just. so. hard. I just wish it came naturally to me. Sometimes it feels so time-consuming but not worth the effort. It is so hard to see the progress after months of practicing a single piece and getting no where....
Sorry, just frustrated today.

Okay, everyone, THE WORLD IS NOT GOING TO END TODAY! God is the only one who knows the last day of the world, and in Amos it says "Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secrets unto his servants the prophets." The Prophet woulda told us if the world was going to end today, so just hold your Hippogriffs, and don't go nuts.

New Time-Waster

So, I have started watching Lost on dvd. Now that Smallville is over, I decided it was time for something new. It has resulted in me staying up way too late multiple nights in a row watching it, and spending hours during the day looking up info on the show and its cast.... oh, brother....
